We use a variety of different Digital Audio Workstations & Plugins. The ones we most commonly use are Logic Pro X, FL Studio, Ableton & the WAVES plugins. Can I sell the finished song on Spotify? Yes, after you have recorded on the beat you can sell it online, in stores, at shows & can even have it played on the radio. When I start making money, do I owe you royalties or a percentage of any kind? No. You keep 100% of the royalties. Do I own the copyright? No, but you are permitted to monitor it any way you see fit once you've recorded your vocals on the track. The derivative work is then yours to copyright. How do you keep your rates so low for royalty-free beats compared to other producers I see charging over $150 at a minimum for unlimited licenses? We can offer this unique service at a lower price due to the work we've put into curating a large network of multi-genre music producers who 1) value helping independent artists get their start in the industry, 2) value getting paid consistently for their work rather than sitting on beats waiting for the highest bidder & 3) value above all just being able to make music for a living. Will you mix & master the beat? Yes, the beat is already mixed & mastered to the commercial industry standard & ready to record vocals on upon delivery. Will you mix & master my finished song? As a part of this service - no. But we do offer separate mixing & mastering services available here. Do I get the stems - and how are the files delivered? Yes, you get a track out of every instrument in a .ZIP file, an .MP3 & a high-quality .WAV file emailed to you upon completion of the beat. Do I have to tag Off Topic Entertainment as the producer or production team? Not in the title of track, but in the credits. When do I pay you?
